With the introduction of Penny by Harter, an occasional table is now an active partner in third-space learning and working environments. Penny addresses New Workstyles emerging from today’s wireless technology with friendly materials and versatile functionality.
Penny’s thin profile suggests lightness and portability, but this simple, timeless design is grounded in sound structure. Whether holding a laptop or double latte, Penny provides a stable platform through a modified X base made of sturdy cast aluminum, which creates a natural footrest. An intuitive ratchet mechanism makes easy height adjustments.
A waterfall urethane edge forms a soft grip for easy handling, tapering to shallower edges on non-user sides of the rectangular top. Penny’s standard finishes include 10 urethane edge colors that pair with up to 12 easy-to-clean laminates. Top shapes include rectangle and oval (15” d x 20” w).
Penny was designed with the environment in mind, using recycled and recyclable materials, with a minimal impact on indoor air quality, and it is pending BIFMA LEVEL certification.

The T11 Series Tables from KFI feature a 3/4″ high pressure laminate top with maple apron. They are a fantastic early education solution for play and learning.
Tops are available in Red, Green, Blue, Yellow and Natural with a PVC edge. The legs are 2″ Square (27” & 29” High), 1 3/4” Square (21” & 23” High) with non-marring glides to protect the floor.
