Florence Knoll referred to her 1961 line of desks as the “meat and potatoes” needed to fill in gaps in the Knoll collection. Her spare, angular designs remain stunning examples of the modern aesthetic.

The Florence Knoll Table Desk’s frame and legs are heavy gauge welded steel and constructed in polished chrome finish . Tops include a satin finish smooth laminate, wood veneer, and bevel-edge marble coated with transparent polyester to help eliminate use-associated stains.

Like so many of her groundbreaking designs that became the gold standard for the industry, the 1961 executive collection — including this credenza — has made its way into the pantheon of modern classics. The optional central locking system requires only one key. Available in two-position or four-position versions. The credenza comes in six body and top veneers, and a choice of five marble tops. Bases are available in either polished chrome or satin chrome.
